Sign in at app.slapmy.app and Studio runs in your browser. Describe your app, see it in the browser, get it onto Apple’s books. Running it live on your own phone is the one thing that still wants SLAP on your computer.

Install Node, once

Node is the free program SLAP runs on. Go to nodejs.org, download the version marked LTS, run the installer, click through the defaults. That is the only thing you install.

Type one line

Open a terminal and type this, then press Enter. The first time it asks whether to install slapmy.app; say yes.

WindowsPress Start, type powershell, open Windows PowerShell. A window with a blinking cursor appears. Paste the line there.
MacPress ⌘ and Space together, type terminal, press Enter. Paste the line there.

Your browser opens with SLAP Studio in it. You never need the terminal again. If nothing opens, the terminal prints an address starting with http://127.0.0.1; copy the whole of it into your browser.

Sign in and follow the SLAP MAP

Press Sign in with Google (or GitHub, or Apple) on the first screen. No keys: whoever invited you covers the cost through relay.slapmy.app. Then open the SLAP MAP, say whether this is your first app, and it shows you the whole road, lit up as you go.
